Career Profile

Second year Masters student at the University of Florida graduating in May 2017. I am the Secretary and Webmaster of Organization for Graduate Student Advancement and Professional Development. I am mainly interested in Web technologies and am learning new ways to create a satisfying web experience, everyday! I also love scratching my head over algorithms and programming. I am currently looking for entry-level web development and software engineering opportunities.

Organization for Graduate Student Advancement and Professional Development

Restructured the organization's previous website supported by WordPress by analysis and removal of 13 broken links and 25 irrelevant pages. Currently, working with Graduate School to create a new website, change the domain and CMS from wordpress.org to Terminal Four.

Projects

Scilyses- Data Analysis Tool - (SciDB, SciDB-R) Developed a tool to enable user to upload his own dataset and perform operations by using the available functions powered by SciDB.
Peer to Peer networks - (Java) Programmed a peer to peer file sharing system like the mechanism of the Torrent system with 5 clients and a server using Java sockets and multi-threading.
Big data analysis to evaluate current trends - (Hive, Hive QL, Hortonworks Sandbox) Designed an analysis system to evaluate the trends in call and data logs of a dummy company.
Color Guess Game - (HTML5, CSS3 and Vanilla JavaScript) This game was created as a project in the Web Developer Bootcamp Course by Colt Steele on Udemy
